Default vehical dies

I have a 1999 Crystler sebring lx coupe and when I come up to stop it dies or take off from a stop it dies. Sometimes it will start back up then I can drive it for a little then it will die again, or I have to sit for a little while then it will start back up. When it dies it just shuts off no warning or nothing but car still has power. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know what the problem may be and how to fix it? Thanks for reading.

The bank of 3 relays under the drivers side on the firewall. I can't remember which is which. One of them is the ASD. I think the dealer still sells them as a unit that bolts on. Next time it dies and won't restart, get out and smack on them while someone else cranks it over.

What does ASD mean?
Is it the starter relay?
