vss codes

well my mil came on one day 2000,lhs i noticed my speedo wasn't working o.k. vss obviously,and my overhead trip center temp readout off also i grabbed my scanner of course p0500,so i replaced the 2 vss,still no speedo was in process of pursuing other issues was around thanksgiving so didn't get around to it right away in the meanwhile,battery issues checked battery and alt. charging o.k. battery weak,batt was under warranty wewnt to dealer to get a replacement, they check batt oh our machine says it's good we can't replace it,good thing i have a jump box,i left i started car every morning,for a few days to be sure it started well 3 days later no start i returned to batt. dealer and got a manager this time it checked bad got replaced o.k. point of story after batt replaced.well all of a sudden speedo is working overhead trip display is now correct,weird all because of weak battery??????

Yes, possible. All those things depend on either the engine computer or the body computer or both. Low voltage can affect the operation of automotive computers.

that's what i thought, the more features added to cars the more computers,the worse issues become
