My wood trim (not the paneling) has become weathered and faded in spots. It originally had kind of a white wash stain/paint over the wood plastic trim to give it a grain look. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore it? Where and what do I buy?

Also how do I restore the shine to the wood paneling? I don't think a clear coat would work. Someone suggested "Pledge" of all things!
