good afternoon ya all. I hope someone can help me. I have a 2001 pt cruiser with 330k miles. Recently it began surging at idle. once over 1700 rpm it runs fine, only acts up when idling. there are no vacuum leaks and no check engine codes. the idle drops to about stall and then goes up to about 1500 to 1750 rpm. As the idle changes the cruise control light comes on and the fuel pressure drops to about 40 psi, while idling normal, the pressure is bouncing between 52 to 60 psi. from what I understand the pressure should be 52 to 62. I'm thinkin its the fuel pump but would like a second opinion. thanks in advance
