Hi, I have a 1995 Chrysler Lebaron, 6-cylinder, automatic, convertible. I am searching for the complete shifter assembly. Not just a cable or a part but I think I need the complete assembly. The issue I have is that the button at the top of the shifter is pushed in and remains in so I can shift without depressing the button. The protective cover that is supposed to protect the component underneath the shifter has been removed because when I want to take my key out, it will not turn all the way backwards unless I reach inside the shifter area and push down on a white piece of plastic. If I look to the very bottom of this area I also see a cable that appears to have slack in it. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
