My defrost has stopped working, this happened after i was hearing a strange noise apon starting from an electrical box under the passanger side for about a month now. My service guy said not to worry about it since everything worked. I recently changed my battery ant ideas?

 

does the blower work harry?that might have been what you heard,or it could have been a blend air actuator.moe

 

Yes moe the blower works fine on the other settings.

 

the only electrical motors on the pass.side are the blower and the blend door actuator.heres a picture.try moving the controls on the dash from defrost to vent and put your hand on the actuator see if it feels like its moving.it will be slow moving.#2 on this picture....moe!

 

It is the actuator, what next does it need to replaced?
