Default Need front wheel bearings for my 1930 Chrysler Series 70 Roadster

This will be the third try at getting my comment approved at this site. As per the title I need front wheel bearings for my Chrysler. Probably both outer and inner. I went to Kanter and Bernbaum; no luck. Also, a few other sites. Does anyone know of perhaps a substitute bearing set? Any information would be appreciated.

I would suggest posting your request on 'allpar.com'. I believe they would be able to assist in finding a substitute set.

BTW - What a standout beauty

Roller and ball bearings have been standardized for a very long time, probably back then, too. You might have luck measuring very carefully the inside and outside diameters and thickness of the bearings and seeing if you can find some with the same specifications. When engineers design the vehicle, they would normally pick a standard sized bearing out of a catalogue rather than designing a bearing from scratch. Good luck.
