Default Need some advice/help

I have a 2012 Chrysler 300c. I'm being told by garages and the dealership that I need to replace the front right headlight assembly which is over $1000!!! To make a long story short, my bulb is out, I brought it in to have it changed but was told it didn't work, and that I needed to swap out the entire assembly. Unfortunately the lights are the bi-xenon , very expensive. What can I do or is there any other alternative where I don't have to spend $1200. My car was due for an inspection last month, it won't pass until it's fixed. Any advice appreciated

YUP, parts bought thru any dealership are VERY EXPENSIVE. I did a quick look at an "online parts" company that I use a lot called rockauto.com, and found variations for your Bi Zenon lights ranging from roughly $700. to $900., A lot depends on what trim the housing has(chrome, black, etc.) Good luck!
