New to the Forum
Hi Guys and Gals,
New here, Trying to start over with a fresh crowd , after much disgust from my last home.... The Auto repair section at a somewhat popular Do it yourself forum.
Im a middle aged professional tech , currently working for a Chrysler / Dodge/ Jeep Dealership in Northeast Pennsylvania, and have always had a "Gravitational" effect towards Mopars. Anything from mid 60's to current, with electrical being my favorite field.
I'm not always perfect, and can always stand to learn something new, and I hope my stay here will be long and prosperous for all involved.

Djinn and Tonic is actually a play on words from the old TV series I dream of jeannie.
Djinn is arabic for "Sorcerer" or "Jeannie" (The Male Form, as Opposed to DJINNI for the female), and Tonic is "Tonic Water..... Gin and Tonic, Vodka and Tonic.....Same difference...
My hope here is to bypass all the nonsense of The DIY environment while offering my Knowledge to the common cause...
I am of the mindset that you cant fix it if you dont know how it works, or what it is supposed to do. Which leaves the DIYer spending more money on guesswork than they would on paying to have it fixed.
Saving a buck, is saving a buck...But as in any buisness...There is no such thing as a "FREE RIDE"....Its gonna cost you something , somewhere along the way.

Hey Djinn-n-Tonic, WELCOME! And a timely arrival, thanks for posting with your ig switch info on my power distribution problem, but I have taken your advice and will be installing a new switch tomorrow.
You mentioned "TAP" in your answer----What is that?
I will comment on thread when results are in, but the more I read, the more I like your answer.
