New Long tube headers installed and have questions
Hi guys, new to the forum here and have some questions. I have a 2013 chrysler 300c awd with the 5.7L hemi and I just had a set of American racing headers 1 3/4 inch long tube headers installed today. I knew I was going to have a check engine light on for the new high flow cats and figured I'd get a tune that would correct the code for that. Well it turns out that the shop that installed them called and told me that these headers have the EGR port blocked off. I didn't have the money to pay for any fabricating and told them to leave it and I'll deal with it later. I picked up the car today and they told me that one of the o2 sensor wire on the passenger side was too short and didn't reach.
When I started the car, instead of having a check engine light on, I have the service AWD, traction control and a check engine light on. I have another set of extended o2 sensor wires that I bought separately that I'm going to have the shop put in on Saturday. I'm hoping that the connection for the o2 sensor will hopefully make the service AWD or traction control lights turn off. Can someone tell me if the EGR delete would cause AWD or traction control lights to come on or o2 sensor wire not connected would or a combo of both??
I plan on having the car tuned for the headers and cats and need to know if they can also tune for EGR delete or if I should have the EGR hooked back up? It's a daily driver and I'm in the north east where we have yearly emissions inspections and I need to have no MIL/check engine lights on.
Thanks.
