2009 2.7 cabrio alarm keeps activating randomly whether set by fob or locking manually with key. Have had all door bonnet and boot contacts checked and also taped off internal movement sensor but still having problem
Live in UK so very few Chrysler service experts ANY IDEAS

 

Check the condition of the car battery. Weak batteries cause weird problems. If it's the original battery, it's overdue for replacement.

 

Tracked it down to internal ultra sonic sensor
This can be overridden by pressing lock on key fob 4 times which disarms the sensor
Had trouble getting replacement so for now have taken out FUSE 21 which is dedicated to this feed alone
