Default Stiff ride & noisy-2011 T&C

I have a 2011 Town & Country with 60K. The ride is very stiff and lots of road noise. Just put General tires on it thinking it might help, but no. Does anyone have any ideas how to improve the ride and silence the road noise. My wife refuses to ride in the middle seat area it's so bad.

Welcome to the Forum. You may want to post your question in the Voyager and Town & Country area of the forum as it's a very active area with many owners from both sides of the Atlantic who hang out there.

As for your question, if you bought the car second hand, you may want to take a look underneath to see if a previous owner installed different springs or shocks (maybe to boost trailer towing) that stiffened the ride. Check all your weatherstrips around the doors. If they are missing or out of place, you could get some road noise in that way.

We bought the car with 17,000 miles on it as a "program" car from a dealer in Tulsa that I used to work for. Stand up dealer. I have been "bouncing" on a few T&C's and find them just as stiff. Really like most of the features on the vehicle, but can't accept the ride or noise. I've talked to the dealer, and they say they haven't had any complaints like mine. I may just get rid of it and buy a "frame" car instead of unit body. Hoping someone had an idea of different shocks or tires that would make this one acceptable. Thanks for your input

Like I mentioned above, try posting your question in the correct area of the forum. You may get some responses from actual owners who have encountered this situation.
