We just bought this van "as is" and are praying we haven't been ripped off. Anyways, my wife said she drove over a puddle of water that was a little deeper then average and the next thing she notice was the power steering was gone, the air conditioner stopped blowing cold air, and the battery light came on. 10 mins later the van died out in the road and we had it towed to the garage and we're just wondering whats up ahead. Can anyone help us?

it probably lost the drive belt for the alternator, power steering and a/c hopefully it didnt overheat and blow head gaskets. one should never drive thru water deeper than 6 inches..... flash flooding kills.

not trying to be a smart a** but i am a professional storm chaser and have seen semi's washed off the road buy what appeared to be a puddle but was much deeper than expected.

Yeah you can't run a 3.3/3.8 through a deep puddle or a snow drift. Belt will walk right off. That engine has ONE belt that drives EVERYTHING. Make sure the cover is still there if not go get one.
