I put a deposit down on a 2004 Sebring Convertible with only 37,000 miles on it. I love it and it drives well on the test drive, but I am leery because of all the consumer reports that I am reading online about the engine problems with the 2.7 engine causing sludge etc as well as other things. Should I get it and hope for the best or listen to other reviews saying sty as far away from them as possible?????? HELP

i to have heard bad reports on the 2.7 motors depends on the previous owner if they serviced the car right an changed the oil at the right intervals as TNtech asked what is the price

 

asking price was $6900, I got them to take off some of the service fees etc there was only one previous owner and the carfax was clean, 21 service reports...How does that sound? I was also thinking about switching to synthetic oil...Thanks
