Does anyone know what the air bag protocol is for a 2012 Chrysler 200. Is there a current code reader available to read and clear the codes. Is the protocol OBD III, CAN etc. I have replaced the airbags on a 2012 Chrysler 200 and my OTC Gensys covers to 2008 but won’t read the 2012. The airbag light is on and I need to read the error codes.

 

I dont know about u but it being an 2012 I would assume its under warranty sooooo

 

It's still CAN BUS on that model. It may not read it because it's off line on the BUS.? Pull all of the fuses in the TIPM and look at them. Also check for broken wires behind the front wheel well shields. Power supply may be cut.
