well i have a 2008 caliber, and i have squeekie breaks and had to take it back to the shop 3 times now, they just keep saying that theya re getting glazed so they sand them down and i am on my way, and when you roll one window down you get this thumping in you ears till you crack another window open, if anyone else has this car do you have the same problems?????? thanks

 

Try some anti-squeal for the brakes.


And the thumping is the pressure building up in the car from it not being equalized. Open another window and it'll solve the issue.
