Hello,
I just bought a 1995 LeBaron GTC, with 43K miles.
The owners manual says to change the timing belt at 60K, but with this car being 13 years old (and the engine not being an interferrence engine) I was thinking that I really should replace the timing belt, water punp and pulley tensioner.
What is the opinion of the members here as far as driving it until the 60K, or trying to head off a potential road side break-down, and being pro=active and changing it.
Has anyone here done this job?
If so, how long did it take?
Are there any special tools for this Mitsubuishi V6 engine?
Thanks,
Emery
