Default 3.5 vs 3.5 HO

So I have noticed the concorde's and prob other chrysler vehicle's use the good ole 3.5 engine. i have noticed some are H.O (high output) giving them a bit more h/p anyone know what differences are done to the engine or exhaust to gain these horse's? not that i wanna attempt theses mods , im just a bit curious.

ok , im still stuck in the motorcycle days , recently had my last wreck a little over a year a ago , yea that kinda put the nail in the coffin. no insurance comp will insure me on a motorcycle. but anyway we would download software to the motorcycle's computer and free up a few more horses and pretty much change up the stock map.
