Default P0452, smell of gas

Hello all, in case it's not posted somewhere, the car is a 2003 Chrysler 300m. The problem started with trouble codes p0452 and p0441, with a smell of gas coming from the car. I had it diagnosed in a shop and they told me the canister/nvld pump needed to be replaced for starters, and that the system needed to be rechecked. I replaced the unit myself with a non-oem part (from RockAuto) which wasn't too much trouble. Now the 0441 code is gone, but the 0452 code keeps coming back and smell of gas remains. I can't afford to pay any more diag fees right now so can anyone guesstimate the most probable PART that needs to be replaced, given the remaining symptoms? Thanks

Good video on NVLD testing and operation. Can access the connector under the rear seat.
P0452 indicates the NVLD switch is not working properly
