I was going to replace my plain lower dash console with the cubby hole one with the always on power supply socket. But, there is a big metal box under there that the cubby thing hits. It says Delphi Delco Electronics p/n 28059919. Of course, any search on google gets no results. Does anyone know what that box is and why the other vans that I was sorting through didn't have it? Also, does anyone know where the closest hot wire is to that power outlet by the cupholder? Thanks for any help.

 

its the air bag module big yellow connector

 

There are two sets of wires connected to it, but neither has big yellow connector. Where is this box located on the vans that have the cubby console? Thanks for the help

 

I believe that is either the satellite receiver (Sirius) or the hands free Uconnect module.

It does have satellite radio, so that sounds likely. Thanks for your help guys.

All the vans have the Airbag Module, so it wouldn't block the cubby with the always on power outlet.
