Windshield wipers not working, very slow at max

My friend has a 2007 PT Cruiser with around 150,000 miles. Whenever he uses the aftermarket UTV windshield wipers, they only go VERY slow at the max setting, and then they stop. Otherwise, the wipers...

Most likely the multifunction switch on the steering column. It's a very common failure on PT Cruisers and causes exactly that symptom. Replace that before anything else.

Turn the AC on along with the defrost. AC removes moisture from the air and will clear the fog. Also make sure you are not on recirculate and use fresh air mode.

99 Sebring No crank, no start

Thanks for the idea ggoose. However, I pulled off the ignition cover and confirmed that there is no SKIM module on my vehicle, no antenna around the ignition switch. It was a good idea though!
