and yes use a straight edge across all four marks on the two gears, you can't eye it up cause the motor is jacked way up in the air so the marks wont look level. I eyed the first time and it caused one gear to be a tooth too advanced and the other a tooth too retarded. Use a straight edge across all four marks.

yes, P/T Head, my exhaust cam was 1 tooth off and both the exhaust and intake were 1 tooth off from the crankshaft timming mark. when I got finished the four marks on the cams were lined up perfectly with a straight edge. Thank you so much for your input and it runs like a dream. Its hard to find and fix someones else's repair mistakes when they are so easy to overlook. Thanks again for your advise. Now its on to transmission code P0740 (torque convertor lock up circuit open) I changed the shift solenoid and the transmission shifts as it should, just not getting any torque convertor lockup.
