Default egr valve warranty

Was told today egr valve was not covered by warranty. I have a 2008 town and country. I have read a couple of posts that say the valve is covered. Cost me over $300. would love to get this back. I have 47k miles with an extended warranty. last 8 of the vin is 8r741p091. Anybody tell me if it is under warranty?

8r741p091 there is not a p in the last 6 it will be all numbers
Where did u get the work done? dealer? if that is the case they would have run the labor op based off your vin and last name if it was covered then U would not be talking to us on here.

sorry about the vin. last 8 is 8r741091. It was a dealer. But I felt the part should have been under warranty. After reading posts in here I was wondering if the dealer had made a mistake.

Based on what. We can't see active service contracts without first 4 letters of last name. Have to know which contract you have first.

OK got it..... I see you have Added Care Plus, you also have Lifetime Unlimited Powertrain already. Max Care would have covered that EGR.

Default EGR valve warranty

ok it is a 2008. I was just trying to see if maybe there was a mistake. If vans from 2001 -2007 are covered i thought maybe my van where it is newer would be covered. I have added Care Plus. I didn't know there was a Max Care I probably would have purchased it. It seems it has already cost me not to have it.

Added care Plus covers a bunch of things. It just so happens not an EGR valve. You may want to call the dealer and get them to go over what yours covers in detail so you'll be aware. That oil change thing you bought is a heck of a deal. Make sure and keep renewing it.
