Default Crankshaft Dampner Pulley

I am trying to remove the dampner pulley. I have a puller. I also have the right (forward) timing cover off and I can see the crankshaft sprocket. When I pull on the pulley the sprocket is coming off also. It looks like there is a roll pin in the dampner pulley when you look at the front where the bolt goes into it. Is that a roll pin? If so does it have to come out? Or is the sprocket stuck to the pulley for some reason.

Thanks
Mike
