RE: durango heated seats not working
The control switch and timer relay are integrated into a single panel. Does your indicter light come on when you turn the switch to on. Use an ampmeter on the battery, it should read 14 volts approx when you turn the switch on it should read higher. also there is a fusible link . if its melted you still could have short from melting wires fom one of the heating elements. you hve to start some where.

RE: durango heated seats not working
i just read your question on your heated seats and i'm quite sure its a problem with the heating grids in the seat cusions (the lower part you sit on). i was a chrysler tech for a long time and changed hundreds of those. what happens is over a period of time from being sat on the heating element wires break resulting in no heat. the elements can be replaced. there are tsb's for this issue but i can't remember the number off hand sorry. you can e-mail me if you have a question.

RE: durango heated seats not working
I took hte durango to the local dodge dealer to have the seats checked, they found the seat module needed replaced. They wanted to charge me $320 to fix my wife's bun warmers!!!!!! I told them that I'll think about it. Now were is the seat module located, they would not tell me at the dealership. Please help .

RE: durango heated seats not working
I own a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT Plus with Leather Heated Seats. My driver Side seat is working with no problem, but my passenger side seat is not heating up. When I click the switch to High or Low, the light does come on, but the seat does not heat up. Someone said it may be the element under the seat, but if that is broke, would the light stay on or go off? Any other ideas? How easy is this to change? Anyone have any ideas??
