Default 1998 CONCORDE

Just brought this car and knew of the noise in the motor. Is a really sharp looking car. I'm thinking that the rod bearing is bad. Now i've read about narrow oil passages and all. Is there a way to drill these problems areas out to allow more flow? Next is the new water that i will install be a updated version or do i got to go with a new model and will it work with 98 engine? What about the issue's with the timing chain, any thing i can do to help that problem? Think I'll be going with a reman crank, bearings, a set of head bolts, head gasket set, timing set, water pump, oil pump, lower gasket set, and connecting rods and hoping not to have to bore the block out and maybe just re-ring it. anyone out there offer a kit? right now my price in 1034. and don't have a price on the connecting rods. cars got 96130 miles on it. is there any parts i've listed that you think i don't need? thanks in advance
