Smile 1999 Chrysler Concorde

So I'm new to the chrysler and dodge familly. Most of my life I have either owned Ford or a Chevy. Im usually more of a truck man. But I have to pick up a car for a friend and he made it in operable for anyone who isnt me to drive because i have better mechanical exp. Anyway, does anyone know which batterey cable is easiest to detach and if it was detached how would it be re-attached? Does it matter the type of engine or anything like that? Also he said he took out the ignition chip? where is the cpu located on a chrysler?

Thank you to those who can help. i have been searching for a long time and i get to pick up the car this weekend so im just doing some homework before the due date..

The best place to disconect the terminal is, usually on the passanger side or on the left hand side looking under the hood. It is also marked as the negative side, mounted on the strut tower.
