1999 Chrysler LHS
Hi,
My dad gave me his old 1999 Chrylser LHS - awesome car, I absolutely love driving it. However, the Keyless Entry/Remote Starter remote dongle has since gone missing and I wonder if the 1999 LHS' came pre-installed with such devices, or were they after-market? Any ideas how I can go about getting a replacement?
And second question: neither the driver-side lock or back hatch can be unlocked from the outside with the key. My dad bought the car previously-used and said that's how it was when he bought it. Could this be due to the installation (possibly after-market?) of the Keyless Entry?

Hi, answers to your questions above...Yes, the 99 LHS came pre-installed with keyless entry. You can get replacement key fobs on ebay....or you can purchase them from dealer. You will definately get them much cheaper on ebay. That is where I purchased mine. (If you decide to purchase from dealer...I have programming instructions that I can email you)
Your second question..... try putting your key in drivers door and turn it to the right twice...that should unlock all the doors on your LHS. Hope this helps...!!!
