Default 2003 300m struts missing spring seat..

I have a 2003 300m Special edition about 85,000. I have been getting a lot of noise and decided to take to shop and i was informed inner tie rod bushings were horrible.

I am changing them now with new inner and outer tie rods, adjustment sleeves and I am changing the stabilizer links. Actually this is my moms car. I know I could change only the bushings and save about 50 buck but really don't want to try to get everything unscrewed...

I don't have much experience with Chrysler's but I know this is not suppose to be in this condition, but its hard to explain to my mom , what noises if any this can cause. Any advice would be appreciated. Both front struts are in this condition. Is this dangerous or just affects the ride quality?

Very common for the spring isolators to be wiped out on these cars. Inner and outer tie rod, stabilizer links and Stabilizer bar bushings (1 1/16 for a Special) all usual suspects on noise and safety.
Spring Isolators more for ride height and quality but there are some cases where the spring seat actually rusted off the strut!
