Default 77 New Yorker

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum so I hope I am not placing this in the wrong category or committing a "no-no" by posting here.

I have in my possession a 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham, two door, black with black interior. It has the 440 Lean burn engine. The currently does not run. I think it is an ignition switch (not the one where the key goes) but I do not have time or money to troubleshoot the issue. I do know that it will need a battery and battery cables before further troubleshooting can continue. There are also other issues, such as a brake caliper that apparently sticks due to some valve that isn't working correctly (this info comes from my father), it needs interior, exterior, and other mechanical work as well.

A little history: Car was bought new in KY in 1977, it is (until I place it in my name) a one owner vehicle. The car currently has a FL title and I am working to get it transferred into my name and a KY title so I have legal authority to do whatever is necessary with the car, be it sell it or junk it, or whatever.

One thing I would like to know is if anyone might be interested in the vehicle who would be of the mind to restore it.

If anyone has any further suggestions please let me know as I may entertain other ideas.

Thanks,

Vinny
