My daughter recently bought this summer. Once it got cold the interior heater was making a lot of noise. We took it to a local guy who does some work out of his garage. He got the heater working but now the speedometer won't light up. He says that it isn't anything that he did and that the speedometer wasn't working when he started the car. I dropped the car off myself a few hours before he worked on the car and it was working fine then.

I'm thinking that he may have knocked off a cable somewhere, but not sure where to start to check.
