94 concorde 3.3, sometimes when I start engine get a real loud growling from the rear of the car likes its the fuel pump. car runs fine but if you really put your foot into it the car is not responsive as it should be, acceleration will go from wild to mild to meek and back to wild. Acts like its staving for fuel. just want some other opinions before I shell out couple hundred for a pump. Yes fuel filter is new as well and the old one was not stopped up but changed anyway. car has 73000 actual miles so just wondering is it a age thing for the pump.. Would like to fix it for a cross country trip for the holidays. Rides and drives so much nicer then my truck
