Default 97 chrysler LHS problems

I have a couple of questions. Does the 1994 LHS use the same coil pack as the 1997? What happened was i was driving and it just shut of, and would not start back up. My plugs are gettin no spark. I changed the plugs and wires and was just wonderin if it could be something other than the coil pack. Thanks in advance

Default RE: 97 chrysler LHS problems

I had a 94 Intrepid that did the same thing, and it ended up being the cam sensor. I used the process of elimination at the time as I had no diagnostic equipment past a test light and a multi-meter. I went to my local library and checked out a Haynes manual and looked up in the troubleshooting section on how to check the coil-pack. I had already checked that the fuel pump was ok. From there I figured it had to be either the cam or the crank position sensor. At the time, the cam sensor was cheaper, so I bought it and voila!, problem solved. Hope this helps, DaveC.
