Hi, I'm Nate, I have an account on dodge forums as I have a 2000 Stratus. I have a 97 Concorde LX and the transmission is in limp mode. I haven't had much luck in finding out why. I'm not a mechanic, but I am guessing the 3rd and 4th gear clutches are burned out? It's stuck in 1st and 2nd which isn't bad considering I can get 80 MPH out of it but that's over doing it. Can I get it fixed or will I need a rebuilt/new transmission? How much am I looking at cost-wise for either option? Any help would be appreciated.
