Bad EGR Valve ?

Can bad EGR valve cause hi coolant temp?

96 Chrysler Concorde LXi 3.5 L

no and egr system has no effect on a cooling system

When was the last time the cooling system was serviced/flushed? Coolant level good? Could be as simple as a failing radiator cap not able to hold the proper pressure.

When does the coolant temp rise - city stop/go driving, interstate/highway speeds 60+ mph?
