LHS buying what to look for.
Hey new here, and Im looking at moving up in the game to an lhs 94'-97'. Is there any things to look for when checkin the vehicals over as far as the mechanicals of these cars go? Greatly appreciated and looking forward to it.

Most of these cars were"old mans cars" and were seldom abused.
So a great car to get used.
They seem to be hard on front suspention pieces.
Clunks can be fixed and make good bargoning chips!
Good luck and you will love your new LHS!

These are great cars, really drivers cars. I have a recently purchased 300C and while it performs much better and I really like it, I can't stand to get rid of my 94 LHS. It just handles so much better and is still a joy to drive.
Check the oil---if it is black, I would probably avoid the car because the owner didn't change it too often. Ditto with dirty or discolored tranny fluid.
Expect to go through front brakes and rotors every year or two, and the car will eat tie rod ends several times in its ultimate lifespan. Ask for maintenance records and what's been replaced. And the transmissions were weak on earlier models---if it hasn't been rebuilt at some point, you may be in for a rebuild at some time.
But truly, I've had my 94 for 11 years, and it's really never let me down and has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. The HVAC systems on these cars were incredible--I've not found one to rival them, even on newer cars.
