Hi all,I know this maybe a long shot but does someone know the average mpg or km/l city/highway?I just would like to know cause I find my car hard on gas but maybe its normal(got the car last month)My engine is a 3.2L and the car has always been serviced at chrysler all its life,if we even sensed a problem,we brought it in.Its very clean and has 137000km(stored in garage in winter)The car belonged to my dad.Thanks

 

i'm getting 17 mpg (city) with a 2.7L
odometer says 136,000 miles

hunt down a bottle of 'seafoam' and run that through the intake.

i've done the small bottle twice.
each time i put half in the gas tank and half in the intake with a tube.

if i had the extra money, i would use the big bottle of seafoam and use all of it in the intake.

seafoam is a cleaner that removes all the gunk on the injector nozzles so they spray a mist rather than squirt out droplets.

as you should know, a mist of gasoline will explode much better than an injector that is dripping.

if you are good with gaskets.. just take the intake off and pull out the injectors to give them a good cleaning.
you will save some money and you will know exactly how clean the injectors are.

but if i was you.. i would check the compression in each cylinder first to make certain that the engine is not dull and out of life.
because if your piston rings are good.. the only other thing that would cause horrible gas mileage is a dirty injector nozzle.

your air filter might be dirty.. but it would take mud or a dead animal to clog the filter so bad that it ruins your gas mileage.
