New to LHS/Power Steering Pump Replacement?
Hello,
I'm thinking of buying a 1999 LHS. It's going dirt cheap as it needs a power steering pump. Is this a difficult job? Costly? Is it a DIY type deal?
Also, I'm new to the 3.5 engine and to the LHS as well. Is there anything I should look for before I buy? I have experience with the 2.7 disaster engine, but as far as I know, the 3.5 doesn't have the same problems, right? How do you all regard this engine for power and reliability?
Are there any common rust areas that should be checked on the LHS?
Thanks
