Just changed oil on my stepdaughters 2000 300M. Per the manual, it calls for 5qts of oil with a new filter. I put in 5qts, installed a new filter and started the car. When I checked the dipstick, it seemed to be showing a quart low. When she first got it, I checked the oil and it was also showing a quart low on the stick too. Is 5qts correct? I was doing a little searching on the net and found a couple places that said 6qts. Just for giggles, I got the part # off of the dipstick and it appears to be for that car.
