Default Transmission Fluid Exchange on 97 Concorde

I've used a procedure on my Fords & Chevy's to change fluid as follows. Replace filter & clean pan. Fill pan w/new fluid. Remove the intake cooler line from the radiator and route it to a plastic jug. Start engine & cycle the shifter from park to reverse, etc. When bubbles start to appear in drain jug, stop engine & fill pan again w/ new fluid. Run through the procedure again until clean fluid begins to run into the drain jug. Reconnect the line to the radiator, start engine, run up to operating temp and top off the fluid level.

Question: Will this procedure work on my 97 Concorde w/60k miles???
