Default transmission issues?

My 1999 300M seems to occasionally "search" for a gear, usually around 45mph with light to moderate pressure on the gas pedal...if you apply heavier pressure to the pedal it downshifts fine. Also, sometimes when this happens the check engine light flashes 3-5 times.

The fluid level is fine, however I just had the fluid and screen replaced about 2 weeks ago.

Seems like too much of a coinsidence to me cause there were zero shifting issues before this fluid change was done. Was the wrong fluid used perhaps? Any suggestions?

Just picked the car up from where I originally had the tranny serviced last month...they did a 100% flush and refill, this time using the Mopar +4 fluid...it seems to be driving better but time will tell. They used an "approved" fluid they claim, but in order to make me happy they went to a Chrysler dealership and purchased the +4 fluid....

As for the codes...there were none as they checked
