700w amp draining battery
Hello!
I'm new here, and have a question for the long time PT Cruiser owners. I have an 2003 2.4l turbo, which has a 700w amp and 1 12" subwoofer in it, came with the car. The first time I used it, it drained my battery. Before this, driving was normal with no problems, as I had to install after market stereo. First time using amp, it drained my battery quickly. Any advice to how I can use the audio upgrades and not drain the battery, or kill the alternator? I'm replacing both currently, as age is probably a factor.
