Default Radio/CD/DVD

I am posting this is more of a general area because I think the radio and connected players may be available in other models besides mine.
I have a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica which we purchased recently. And like most other things with this car I have found you have to rub your head and pat your belly simultaneously in many cases to get things adjusted and working.
So my question is this: other than the awful instructions in the owners manual, is there something else that will explain all the features and options and "how to's" on the radio/CD/DVD player? I can find nothing more on line than the owners manual and other than general descriptions it is useless.
I have the REV that has the wireless headphones and remote with units as pictured below. I just can't seem to get anything to work properly.
Thanks.
