Default Suggestions for 2010 Town and Country aftermarket dvd player

My wife has a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country that does not have a factory dvd player. We want to have one installed, but an OEM system will set me back around $1000, not including the installation. Has anyone had an aftermarket dvd player installed in a Town and Country that wasn't equipped from the factory, and if so, which one did you go with? I'm thinking the headrest dvd players might be my best option and I could probably do the install myself, but the ones I've seen online are all leather and the van has cloth interior. Any suggestions?

Not sure how far along you got with this, but I'd check to see whether or not your van is equipped with active headrest. If so, you may have issues installing DVD headrest, because the headrest that are in there are a part of the vehicles collision system. I bought an OEM replacement radio off ebay, and I'm now trying to figure out the best way to install rear monitors (I'd bought the leather headrest replacements, but I'm going to have to return those now). The more research I do, the more it seems like the only way to go is get an aftermarket head unit and this overhead unit directly from mopar and shell out the extra cash:

Let me know if you've done something else or have found a better option though.

I ended up going with the headrest DVD players. I went ahead and got the leather(pleather) headrests, but they actually look pretty darn good in there, even with the cloth upholstery. Color was a perfect match. I didn't know about the active headrests. My van apparently isn't equipped with them because I didn't run into any problems.
