Smile one automatic transmission solution

Two pt cruiser convertibles years 2005 and 2006 had trouble changing gears at 2200 rpm. Vehicle would jerk and not go into next gear. Tried all kinds of tests including replacing the PCM but no success. Final solution was unexpected: The camshaft sensor was not working properly and it told the TCM not enough power to change gears. Replaced camshaft sensor and transmission and both vehicles work great! Hope this solves a problem for someone !

sure it was not crank sensor? the cam sensor is not even a thought the TCM uses. The rotation of the crank shaft is what the transmission info is needed. for engine rpm and the torque of the engine.
