Here is 2 auction #s on ebay of a 2.7 flexplate 180144559282 8019607020 they look like yours but it may not be exact. The notches may be differant. You might not see the differance unless you know what to look for or if they were side by side.

ok so i pulled it then i installedthe engine,but its not cranking very hard, is there anyway that the torque converter is not on all the way and slowing it up. its the only thing i can think of.

Not sure how you installed the converter. When you put the converter into the trans it is like two steps. It goes in so far and you keep moving it around until it goes in alittle farther. Anyway I found out what those wires go to. It is the knock sensor. The 04 motor has a differant sensor than the 01. The 04 sensor and wireis black and is held by a nut on a stud. The 01 has a orange tannish connector and looks like an oil preasure sending unit. U must change that because it will not work.. I got my motor out the other day. I picked up my 04 motor the next day. The flywheel,knock sensor are totally differant. I am going to pull the plenium and valve cover off tomorrow. no the cam sesonor is on the left of the engine just look on the passenger side so i have to change the knock sensor too.
i got the motor in and it back fires wont start yet but still have to put the exhust on thanks for the info

No you dont have to remove the intake. Remove the air cleaner up to the throttle plate. Look under the intake with a light and a mirror. You will see a stud with a nut on it. Take another nut like the one that is on the stud and double nut it and use a rachet wrench and the stud will back out. U can reach in there and start the other nut. Then reach in and start the right sensor.

Hey got alittle deeper into it today. One more problem. The cam tone wheel that was mentioned in and earlier message. It is on the front camshaft sprocket. It looks like the ring on the flywheel. You will have to remove the upper intake and front valve cover. There is 2 bolts and 2 rivets that hold it on. Mark the location of the ring to the sprocket. It must be installed right or it will be 180 out. So mark it at the keyway. So stuff a rag down under the cam sprocket and tape a piece of cardboard to the sprocket. You will have to drill out the foot of the rivet. Use a vacuum while drilling so the chips dont fall into the engine. Then take a punch and drive out the rivet. Becarefull not to drop the rivet while driving it out the other side.. Drill out the rivets then remove the bolts. What is your email I will keep in touch Good Luck!!!
