Default 02 Fusible link location

I am looking for any possible fusible link locations for an 02 Sebring Sedan with a 2.7L engine.

A wire diagram I have shows that there is one located between the alternator and the Positive boost point in the engine compartment. I want to know exactly where it is, so I don't have to hack-apart all the harness.

Thanks, Adam

There should be one in a dark green 10 gauge wire leading from the alternator to the starter motor. If it's blown, you may be able to find it by feeling the wire. If you come to a point where there's a detectable gap under the insulation, you've found it.

Default still broken after 2 years?

Zerko, did you ever get your car fixed? Part of forum participation is contributing by posting a solution. Otherwise, forums are pointless.

I did get it fixed. Used a test wire between alternator and battery post, started charging right away. Wire rotted off at starter connection.

Sorry my partisipation is not up to speed.

I have a 2001 sebring 4 door LX, 2.7, the wire from alternator is red, can't see on top of starter, it's hidden by front motor mount, is that where the fusible link is? If so why would they put it their?
