04 Sebring Convertible top

04 Sebring Convertible top
Purchased a 04 Convertible a few weeks ago but the top needs replaced. I have a question, when you order a new top does the rubber between the frame and top come with a new top or does that need to be purchased separate? Is that considered part of the weather stripping or is it called something else? Having a problem locating the parts online, I don't want to buy straight from Chrysler or Mopar because it's going to cost a lot more and I'm hoping I can find a website similar to RockAuto where I can purchase these.
Thanks much!

Another option is to have the top done by a local place that does boat tops and covers.
Quite a few have been done that way.
This has a section about convertibles, perhaps it will help with your question.
Section 23 of the manual you will find info on convertibles.

There are places on the web that supply convertible tops and parts. Here's one:
https://www.autotopsdirect.com/Chrys...-Tops-s/42.htm
Chrysler dealers won't carry parts for your '04. They carry parts for model years for 10 years, or a few more if there are carryover parts, but in your case, the latest model year similar to yours would be 2006, which is also more than 10 years old. The weatherstripping you are seeking could be a problem. You might inquire at the above site regarding those parts.
For installation of the top, your best bet is to seek out a specialty shop. There are places that replace convertible tops all day every day, and their economic future depends on their ability to do it well and efficiently. Unless you have been trained and are experienced, it's not a DIY job. A poorly installed top will be obvious, will have wrinkles, will "balloon" in the wind at highway speeds, will probably leak and you won't like it. Good luck, and come back and tell us about your experience.
