So my car had puttered out on me and died and the next morning when I'm trying to stat it just nothing this had been happening a couple times so I assumed I needed a jump and when I went to jump it it fired up but then quickly died and now it won't even do that it just revs but with out b we omg hooked up to another car literally nothing happens when I try to turn it over I was thinking I needed a new battery but I didn't hear the clicking of normally hear from that plz help asap

 

What is the battery voltage?

 

How old is the battery? If 4 years old change it. I had this problem this winter, even with voltage showing @12v. Could be bad cells in battery. Clean terminals also.

 

12.0 volts is a battery that is pretty much dead. 12.75 volts is reasonably well charged up.
