Default 04 Sebring Sedan, passenger window dead.

My friend has an 04 Sebring LX Sedan 4 cylinder and we were out just today and the passenger window won't respond anymore to either the passenger side window switch controlor the driver side switch control. Unfortunately the windowdied in apartially down position. All of the other windows work. I was just curious if it was something as simple as a fuse? Thanks for any help.

Ok, thanks. Is that a pretty expensive fix?

Does it go down or just not up? could be the switch. Pull the connector off the motor and reverse the wires in the plug and plug it back in. If you press down and it goes up then it's just the switch that doesn't respond. And at least your window is up then.Mine was the driver's door switch.

I gave my friend the diagnosis I got here, and he also asked the local Chrysler dealer and they guessed at a regulator. They inidcated that it would not be cheap due to the labor involved. Anyways, I figured I'd take one more crack at getting the window so I tried the driver side both up and down but no response, then I tried the passenger door and initially if I'm remembering correctly, it didn't respond when I clicked up, so I clicked down and it moved down and I quickly clicked up and was able to get it closed. I don't think my friend wants to take the chance on trying to open it again since he's afraid it might not close.
